August 9, 2008. Jack Laroux was invited this year to donate an original painting entitled “VENUS FLY TRAP” to be auctioned off at the SUNFLOWERS AFTER HOURS event hosted by Henry Buhl at his South Hampton estate.

The event benefits the Association of Community Employment Programs for the Homeless (A.C.E). A select few artists were invited to participate in the live and silent auction including such prominent artists such as Hamilton Aguiar and Paul Brown.

Kristin Cole CBS-2 reporter hosted the evening’s event and vice president Eliza Osborne of Sotheby’s conducted the live auction.
